You wouldn’t know it by the 80 degree weather we have been having, but it is October.
And the leaves aren’t the only thing that’s falling this year.
I went to my 2nd Weight Watchers meeting on Saturday and left feeling on top of the world! I finally found a program that’s going to work, this is something I CAN do the rest of my life. I’m not ON a diet, I’m not starving, I’m eating whatever I want and I feel fanfreakingtastic.
Last Week: 212.8
Current: 208
Loss: –4.8
Total Loss: –4.8
Breakfast:
- Trader Joe’s Hot Multigrain Cereal (5P+)
- Artisana Cashew Butter (5P+)
- 1 tsp. canola oil (1P+)
- 1/2 Cup Blueberries (0P+)
I wish I could say I loved the cashew butter, but I just didn’t. It was too overpowering. I won’t be buying this one.
But the blueberries, perfection. I bought these at a farmer’s market a few months ago near the campground and I froze a bag full. I’m so glad I did. These were just as good as the day I bought them.
I’m ready for a new week, make today the best it can be!!

i would have thought the cashew butter would be fantastic. i’ve never had it, but am curious. not the best review here though
I was really excited to try it out, but it overpowered the entire bowl and the flavor was SO overwhelming. I normally love nut butters on my oatmeal, but the cashew butter was just too much.
YAY! Sounds like an AWESOME week! I love blueberries, too! and have a freezer full. Sounds like you’re so excited, and congrats on your loss!
I just found another bag of blueberries in the back of the freezer, I love when that happens
Congrats on your loss!
Thank you
Holy moly! 5 points for the cashew butter? No wonder I never lose weight when I eat oatmeal. I never thought it would be that bad!
Crazy, huh?! I won’t be having it often that’s for sure!!!
Great job on the loss!! That is fantastic!!
You are going to succeed at this because you have such a fantastic attitude!
I’m glad I get to read about your journey because I was there once too!
Thank you so much!!
I love your blog, you made me realize i can totally do this!!!
Wow – that is an amazing loss! Congrats!!
And I have to say, I’ll take this October weather anyday… I *love* the 80 degree days with the beautiful fall leaves!
#Mamavation Sista
Thank you
80 is just too hot for me in October, I’ll take the sunshine, but in the 60′s would be perfect
Congrats that is a mind-blowing loss. I love the pictures of falling leaves. I’m from the land of cactus so we don’t get to see that often unless we travel to higher ground.
Thanks!
I love the changing leaves and the bright colors, I’ll keep posting them for you
Oh my gosh!!! Congrats on the loss! That’s SO awesome!
Thank you!!!!
Keep up the good work Jen! You go girl!
I’m trying, thank you!!!
way to go on the weight loss! keep getting those nutrients in. I love cashew butter mixed in greek yogurt, try that!
Thank you!
Congrats on the awesome achievement! Keep it up!
I am going to get some of that cashew butter to sample. Wish I had read your post before I chose which types to try though…maybe I’ll love it though.
Thank you!!
You might like it, it’s rare I don’t like a nut butter, but this one was just too much for me ;(
Awesome!
Thanks for stopping by. Back in July, I could barely run a 1/4 of a lap at the track. It took me a few months, but I love how I feel when I am done with my run. Keep it up and you will be able to run further than you expected in no time.
That’s my plan, one day I’ll be running and looking back on these days as a distant memory
Your weight loss – AWESOME!!!! You are rocking it girl!!!! I hope you have another successful week.
Can’t wait to hear about it.
Thank you!!
Wow, you are doing so well on your weight loss already! WAY TO GO! (Weigh to go?
) I lost 45 lbs using the Weight Watchers system (didn’t go to meetings, just tracked at home) when I was 19 and in college – it works!
Thank you!! Wow, really? I didn’t know that about you and WW!
Way to go on dropping the lbs! That is so exciting. My friend used weight watchers and was very successful!!
Haha we are reading eachothers blogs at the same time. Next time you go to whole foods grab the veggie “burgers”
I just noticed that! I will for sure
Thank you! I used it in 2007 and lost about 50lbs then found out I was pregnant with my 3rd. I’m hoping to have success again!
That’s awesome Jen!! Woohoo. You are so on your way. So glad to see you sounding so upbeat and positive about it.
Oh, and all the food on your blog looks amazing.
